Proximity metal reader - Satin Chrome

The Proximity metal reader is for use with Switch2 and Net2 systems. It is manufactured to have a cast metal housing with a chrome finish, leaving the reader looking smart and professional. Built around metal, the reader is suitable to be fixed onto other metal objects such as onto metal door frames, or car park reader posts.

A token is read by holding it within close proximity to the reader. Once the token / card has been read the control unit will look up the permissions of the reader. Access is then granted or denied as appropriate. If access is granted the green LED flashes and the user may enter the building / access controlled area. If access is denied the red LED flashes.
