Description
The Smart 31D is one of the latest printers released by IDP printers, the Smart 31D replaces the Smart30D with a number of improvements to the printer making it one of the printers tipped to be a top seller. It's simple and easy to get set up, making it a great choice if you are looking to get started printing double-sided cards. First plug in the USB, then the power cable and added your blank plastic cards to the input hopper and you are ready to start printing.
Print Quality
The Smart 31D offers 300dpi (Colour & Mono), 600 & 1200dpi (Mono Only) / Edge to Edge dual-sided printing. With a print speed of 124 cards per hour ( YMCKOK ), the Smart 31D is a great choice when looking to print dual-sided plastic cards such as staff id cards, loyalty cards, membership cards and gift cards
Security
IDP Smart has introduced two security features to the Smart 31D which lowers the risk of your cards potentially being duplicated. The Smart 31D has introduced the ability to print which a technology called SmartMark. This allows you to print a visible but transparent overlay over the top of your card which is high customisable with the ability to add logos, pictures and text. Smart has also offered the ability to print UV with the Smart 31D which allows you to print a UV image on your card which is only visible with a UV light.
